Estimate the indicative amount you could accumulate in a 2nd or 3rd pillar pension fund by retirement age, based on your monthly contribution and expected return.
This is an accumulation projection (how much you could accumulate in a private 2nd/3rd pillar pension fund), using the standard compound interest formula with monthly contributions. This is NOT a calculator for the Lithuanian state (Sodra) pension amount — the state pension is calculated under a complex system of insurance record and points, which only Sodra, the Lithuanian State Social Insurance Fund Board, can calculate precisely.
You can get an exact estimate of your Lithuanian state pension in your personal Sodra account (epasaugumas.lt / sodra.lt). Actual investment returns fluctuate and are not guaranteed — 5% is only an illustrative example.
2nd pillar — part of the Lithuanian state social insurance (VSD) contributions is redirected into a private pension fund (an additional, optional choice within the Lithuanian pension system). 3rd pillar — fully voluntary saving from personal funds, with possible personal income tax (GPM) relief under Lithuanian tax rules.
The accumulated amount is divided evenly over a 20-year (240-month) period, without accounting for further investment during retirement — this is a very approximate estimate.
An exact estimate based on your insurance record and accumulated points is provided by Sodra, the Lithuanian State Social Insurance Fund Board, through its information system — this calculator does not replace that.
